* Release dates can be specified as a specific date, a range of dates, or a no-later-than (NLT) date. The period (or date) to which data to be released relate is shown in parentheses.
1/ Brazil is taking a flexibility option for the timeliness of the General government operations. Present timeliness is two years and one month for financing data.
2/ Not applicable. Data are disseminated daily.
3/ The IBGE released the results of the May and June Monthly Employment Survey (MES) on the dates scheduled for four of the six Metropolitan regions surveyed (Recife, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo), but not for Salvador and Porto Alegre. This meant that the results for the set of six metropolitan regions surveyed could not be released. The delay was due to the work stoppage of employees at the IBGE. Later, at a date still to be determined, the complete data will be released.
