1.000 Cruzeiros

As from 1943, the new Cruzeiro standard notes started to replace the previous ones. Their denominations were 1,000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, and 10 Cruzeiros. Later on, notes of 5, 2, and 1 Cruzeiro entered into circulation.

5 Cruzeiros

Launched in 1961, this note produced domestically, printed by the Brazilian Mint, became known as the Indian note.
