Besides the Rio de Janeiro Mint, several foreign
manufacturers were commissioned to produce Brazilian notes from 1896 to
1923: Bradbury Wilkinson, Georges Duval, Cartiére P. Miliani, and the
American Bank Note Company, that produced this 500,000 Réis note for the
National Treasury in 1911.
